Ce trio originaire de Rīga en Lettonie navigue dans le genre post-metal au sens large.
Ils parcourent l’Europe et la Russie depuis 2005 en mélangeant ambiances sombres, noise et musique extrême tout en évitant les standards mainstream.
Avec GHOST, leur cinquième opus réalisé sous la houlette de James Plotkin (il a travaillé avec Sunn O)))) et défendu régulièrement en tournée avec Neurosis, la musique TESA s’étend aussi loin de possible.
Sont citées comme influences aussi bien Shora, Godspeed You!, Black Emperor et Grails que Converge !

This three-piece band from Rīga, Latvia, is mostly associated with post-metal genre.
