After the « Throne Of Laments » a couple of years ago, Pugnale (a rather recently formed trio from Italy that mixes black metal and grindcore) are trying to raise the bar with their new « Purified In Emptiness ».

Clean and powerful sound, fast and ruthless riffs, although Pugnale are more interested in getting straight to the point as a punch in the teeth than writing complex pieces. And it’s not that this is a flaw, on the contrary…
